Titus Bocseri is a senior executive with over 20 years of Financial Services experience – both in management consulting and on the industry side – centered on the Insurance Industry. He specializes on formulating and implementing business strategies, devising transformation planning, defining business models as well as driving them to successful implementation.
As Managing Director of Slalom’s Insurance Practice, Titus is responsible for Business Development, Thought Leadership, Strategic Alliances, Asset Development, and Client Engagement Delivery.
In addition, he is holding an adjunct faculty position at Columbia University where he is teaching various courses in corporate strategy and business development in the School of General Studies.
He previously worked for Carlisle & Gallagher Consulting Group, where he was responsible for the North American Insurance Practice and for HSBC as a Senior Vice President while heading the strategic initiatives unit in the Global Insurance space responsible for building a profitable life insurance business via direct and third party distribution of manufactured and co-branded products. Prior to that, Titus worked on Wall Street as Vice President in charge of Strategic Development in the Global M&A Department of Willis Group Holdings Ltd. His work focused on deal – sourcing, due diligence, contract negotiations, structuring and execution – with the added task of being in charge of the integration tracking phase.Titus’ previous experience includes corporate strategy, M&A, as well as management consulting in both domestic and international markets.
He holds a B.S. in Engineering from the Military Technical Academy in Bucharest, an M.S. in Technology Management from Columbia University and an MBA from Columbia Business School – concentration on Finance and Economics.
