At YLCE I have encountered something new. It felt like I didn’t have dreams anymore, because they shaped into achievable goals.
“Fortune favors the bold”
For me, the path of entrepreneurship meant the chance to follow my gut. As a teenager, the idea of creating added value was very appealing. By the time I was 16, I had opened my first business, together with my brother. It was a repair shop for second hand scouters, but even so, I learnt the joy of conducting a successful transaction and the sorrow of an unsuccessful one. During college, I focused on sales and it thought me the importance of empathy in the sales process.
Peter Drucker once said, that a company is only as good as its sales and innovation departments. This guideline has led me to make the best business choices. By the 11th October I had inaugurated my first large scale project – Times Pub – a new club concept based on live music and pub themes. It didn’t take long until it became Brasov’s new trendsetter in terms of nightlife.
I am currently working on two projects – entertaining and tourism.
At YLCE I have encountered something new. It felt like I didn’t have dreams anymore, because they shaped into achievable goals. It’s hard to explain, but I felt empowered. Thanks to the modules and mentors, I am now aware that I am the only one capable of maximizing my potential and achieving my goals.
